Operating Theatre progressing well in Londiani

The building of an operating theatre in Londiani District Hospital is progressing well.  This operating theatre is funded jointly by Irish Aid Civil Society Fund and Friends of Londiani.  The project is coordinated by a local project team including members of LDH Staff, representatives of the Ministry of Health, Community representatives and FOL Kenya.  This team has worked hard since last September on the project.

The operating theatre will serve the entire Kipkelion District with its population of 206,000 people.  It will provide much needed services to the entire community.    We look forward to the completion of the project.
