Benditai

Benditai village is situated about 2 hours from the Bethel Home in Londiani. The area is made up of two main farms - Benditai and Kiploki, and has a population of 3000 people. It is a rural village, and most people survive by farming the land.

FOL began working in Benditai in 2007 in partnership with the Kongoni Community Committee. This Commitee is made up of representatives from both farms in this area.

The projects to date include building two classrooms in the local Primary School, installing 12 Community Water Tanks, and running several education projects in the areas of HIV/AIDS Peer Education, Health Clubs and Adult Literacy Programmes.
