Friends of Londiani are holding their inaugural Golf Classic on the 15th August 2008 in Charleville Golf Club, Co Cork. This attractive parkland golf course is on its present site since 1941 and has now extended to a pleasant 27 hole heavily wooded course, well known for its lush fairways and beautiful greens. Its location at the foothills of the Ballyhoura Mountains and next to Munster's most central town makes it an ideal centre for golf only 40 minutes from Cork and Limerick cities.

Top Prizes on Offer to the Leading Teams:

• Four-ball at Killeen’s Golf Club, Killarney + Overnight accommodation
• Four-ball at Fota Island Golf Club
• Rounds of golf at other golf courses – details on day of event.
• The winning team will take home the Friends of Londiani, Perpetual trophy.

The format for this event is as follows:

• Tee times: All day. 
• Teams of three
• Format – 3 ball, better ball
• Cost per team - €150.00 (all proceeds will go towards FOL’s ongoing projects in Kenya)
• Dinner is not included, but is available in the clubhouse all day.
• Please note that tee times can only be guaranteed on receipt of full payment. There are some tee times available on the Thursday evening if this is a more suitable day for you.
